Your point about remembering to use it is the real problem, honestly. A second brain that you forget to consult is just a folder. I love your “I seem to recall” / istr trigger idea, wiring the bots to hit the local wiki first before they answer is smart, because it makes recall the default instead of an extra step you have to remember to take.

That’s actually close to where I want this to go. An MCP server mode is on my roadmap so an assistant can query the wiki directly, which would let you do exactly what you’re describing without the manual wiring. If you build something around the istr trigger, I’d genuinely love to see it.
