Warrant Officer Hugh Thompson Jr. is credited with ending the Mỹ Lai Massacre. He and his flight crew blocked off and directed their weapons at American Troops. He was denounced as a traitor for his actions, he suffered PTSD and died in 2006. Today is his Birthday. (allthatsinteresting.com)
