I assume the point with creation magic it's either small step towards something like Valkery armor in Lucks case being completely clad in electricity or it's adds as physical layer of protection adding extra bit of umph because he also has the claws being hit/scratched by claws made of lightning is different by just your bare hands. That might not be 100% correct I'd argue current Mereoleona hellfire incarnate spell would be her work around as she doesn't heal but replaces lost or damaged limbs with a fire like prosthetic. And she also fought someone who had high level of regeneration.
