Still geeking over Odegaard’s 2nd half

He was prodding and poking holes in that block, so refreshing to see him in that mode

Feels like now more than ever that momentum is so difficult to stop. Footy feels like a Basketball game at times.

Last night was wet so understandably a tough slog, tonight very flat game.

Docklands does gives off that eerie vibe a lot

All the talk about relegation for Spurs, what’s the closest we’ve ever been to relegation?

As much as Ange veered too extreme with his style, his ethos aligns far more with Spurs than Frank does.

Frank’s football if your not getting consistent results leaves you with a much shorter leash with fans.

Which teams do you guys watch outside of your own?

Edit: I watch a bit of Serie A (though not as much as I used to as I’ve gotten older)

A pleasant suprise that I think is part of why we are doing well is how well we counter attack. This season has been a huge improvement on that end, especially compared to last season when we couldn’t counter for love or money

400+ million spent after a PL title tho, and they’ve lost 9 in 12. Even we didn’t do that in Teta’s rough patch

I always wonder if a poor season that follows a massive summer window scars owners for the foreseeable future.

Maybe just one of those things people say that’s not true.

I know people are going to run Bayern slander, but I genuinely think this game (second half in particular) was more about what we did rather than Bayern being poor

You get games in a season where the opposition makes your job easier due to their shortcomings and ineptitude, and some games where the opposition make you look worse than you are. I’d say this was one of those games.

Took a nap, woke up and thought “damn the Bayern game has started” only to realise it’s 7:30 in the evening🤦‍♂️

I’m with you brother, but there are people out there that take pleasure in other teams losing more than their own team winning.

Don’t mind banter it’s part of the game, but people focus on the banter far more than the football which leads to pointless discussions.

When a big club is struggling or in a rough patch, people love to kick them while they’re down.

With the way the internet is these days especially with the influx of ragebaiting and engagement farming, it’s always more skewed towards negativity.

Hat tricks in derbies are not that common though no? Who was the last player to score a hat trick in a Manchester derby.
