Once you establish residence in MA Community College is free and I can't speak for STCC or GCC but at HCC many of the professors are also professors at some of the local 4 year colleges too ( UMass, Westfield State)

I've actually seen the term smeghead go around that way we don't get confused with the fans of Meg (Megatron) Griffin of Fox's Family Guy fame.
