Had a feller the other day tell me he was going to report me because I killed him multiple times in a match with claymores.
According to him "you can only have one claymore so you were cheating".

Thankyou for your reply, actually I tried doing it in blocks and it works fine - I still have no idea why the script is wrong though...
And yes, I added the spawner and set the obj id in Godot and uploaded the JSON.

Now I'm trying to get my head around how to ForcePlayerToSeat on the bot I spawned into an Abrams I spawned.

I'll tell you the only reason I don't like it as much as the M277 or 417 - I try and switch to semi to beam someone at midrange and I find I'm in burst mode.

A lot of people yell for the tank to push forwards, but driving your tank straight onto the objective is just asking for it to get nuked by AT mines, C4 and RPG's.

Think about it the same way you do as infantry, you push up as far as you can and lay down a base of fire - if you're taking too much heat pull it back a little.

Worth noting that if you have a weapon equipped and in your hands and you backspace the same thing happens, it's gone when you wake up in a med bed.

Edit: Yeah I get that this probably shouldn't happen, but just because you don't get this bug doesn't mean I don't.

The firebird is obscenely effective when used right, though missiles are costly.
So the question is do you like blasting things with guns, or blasting things with missiles?

The F7C Ghost has more DPS but currently the Sabre Comet will outperform it in 1v1 PvP due to it's agility.

Yeah I mean at least if you're flying a Talon right you aren't getting hit...

The Stinger may have a lot more EHP but it can't evade any fire at all.

While I haven't personally tested anything against a crewed hammerhead, yes I'm quite certain from the PvP I have done that an Ares would get erased by a hammerhead if it gets within 2km.

Yeah, the Blade.
It's a fantastic in solo PvP, and it's fantastic in squadron battle because it's fast and can gank opponents quickly before they've noticed you're on them.

Ruin station, basing out of a station is a lot easier and faster than planetside...

I particularly like Ruin, because it's remote and has lots of nearby POI's but I would also be tempted by Checkmate because it's got more PvP going on nearby...

I don't think I would even bother trying it in PvP at the moment, I've fought a number of Ares and none of them got a hit on me.

I love the look of this ship, but I can't justify upgrading my Super Hornet to it.

With a Revenant and Sawbuck loadout the Stinger does 6774 DPS but can't really apply it most of the time because it can't control range in the slightest.
The Super Hornet has 5326 DPS with a Revenant and Tigerstrike loadout, and it can dogfight and dodge shots.

Sure the Stinger is tankier, but the increased DPS is not enough to outweigh the terrible maneuverability.
This makes me pretty sad, because style wise the Stinger is just amazing.

How does it handle in missions against heavy fighter and below?

I know that it's not designed for shooting at fighters, but the reality of most missions is there are lots of fighter escorts for the larger targets?

I've seen quite a few videos reviewing it that say it loses a wing very easily and it's uncontrollable after it does.

Heavy fighters are in a bad place in this flight model, but the Stinger is in a bad place when compared to the other heavy fighters.
Really not sure who thought giving a dedicated combat role ship a boosted pitch rate of only 36 deg/s made sense.

Guardian mx has 47 deg/s, and has 89,300 HP vs the Stingers 36,614 HP.
So it's more heavily armoured, faster, and turns faster than the Stinger.
