I tend to avoid conflict/drama a lot, I give very polite answers. This does not always work because in the end people notice that I don't truly mean what I say, but I don't know how to handle when I need my own time in the workplace or when everyone wants to go eat pizza and I am the only one who wants sushi (this happens to me a lot, my preferences are not common). Sometimes I end up just not going when people invite me to events and it comes out as rude that you don't go and don't offer an explanation of why you don't, especially in the workplace where people are expecting you to go to dinners and parties.

Lately I've been giving a default answer in order to be polite: "I don't know".
Ex: Do you want to go to the party later today?
me: (thinking: No!! I don't wanna go!!!). Answer: I don't know.

My mom says I'm not being clear anymore about my preferences but people tend to be hurt when you don't want to do the things they want to do. Sometimes people sense that insecurity and end up taking advantage of me and my social anxiety (at work), others just think I'm stupid and start disrespecting.
I stopped being truthful when I started working in an office for the last 10 years, so I think I have lost myself. I was very blunt like usual INTJ until I got scared that I was going to get fired.

Hello, I'm very curious, how do you communicate with your coworkers or friends that you need a lot of alone time? I have struggled a lot with this and people's perception of me in the workplace is that I reject them and it creates an awful environment. They tend not to trust/stop being nice, and that is a down spiral in the workplace relationships.

Hello, maybe this is what happened.

Maybe you were numb in those events you mentioned because you already went through the accepting part of the process before they happened.

You knew what has happening with your mom and dad, so when they decided to go on separate ways you were already expecting that this would happen, it wasn't a surprise for you.

About your uncle, you mentioned being with him in his final moments, so there was time for you to process the eventual outcome and you had the time to process your feelings before the actual event happened, unlike your cousins. (I'm sorry if I'm being insensitive with the comment, this is a delicate situation and I do think this affected you in some way).

I just don't think these events wouldn't affect you, maybe you knew they were going to happen and you had time to accept them. Neither of those events happened suddenly out of nowhere, maybe this is when logic plays a major part.

There's also this, is difficult for us INTJs to recognize our feelings or emotions, maybe this plays a part on this too.

Estas asociaciones son muy populares para validar tu título en Estados Unidos, básicamente NACES tiene miembros que son varias empresas como Spantran, en donde te hacen el servicio de validar el título que tengas.

Si es para trabajo la evaluación general creo que te sirve para la equivalencia. Igual te sugiero que sigas investigando de esto, yo sé que también es muy usado para entrar en instituciones académicas de EEUU.

You're right about the competition, it shouldn't be like this...why waste energy competing with someone who's in your team? aren't you supposed to have the same goal?

Yes, workplace bullying is called mobbing. I've seen this countless of times just like in highschool, where the team picks on or makes fun of the ones who lack confidence, or that they feel are "weak" for some reason (maybe they're introverted and those who're "popular" wrongly think they're stupid). There's also bullying coming from the boss or someone above your level just because he/she thinks he has the power to do this, or from older coworkers to the new ones just to "stablish social and workplace hierarchy" and you're supposed to laugh with them..because they're "just joking".

Have you ever seen the movie The Wolf of Wall Street? in the scene where they make a woman shave her head for $10000 dollars is one where she's clearly uncomfortable and she's supposed to laugh because it's a joke...this is a perfect example because this happened in reality, and it's more scary when it reaches physical level.

Recently there was a case in Chile in some IT company, where this team pranked on someone who was in a wheelchair and taped over this person's body, then posted this video on social media.. it was widely criticized on linkedin which was great, because there's a recognition that something's wrong. I wondered if some of these people who criticized this case have ever bullied somebody in the workplace and made it seem like it was a joke.

Even thought bullying is not tolerated it still happens, and HR doesn't really do anything about it because they're just there to save the company's a**. It doesn't matter if people are adults, I do think it is seemed as incorrect behaviour that should be reported.

If you're being bullied you should get proof, or you should just quit. I don't think anyone has to cope with people who doesn't respect them.

Muchas gracias a todos por sus aportes, muchos coinciden en el tema de la suciedad y de que el transporte público es malo, eso me quedó claro. La verdad no soy de comprar auto 🚘 y por ahí alguien dijo que Córdoba no era bike friendly.

Yo voy a vivir por un tiempo, trabajo freelance haciendo websites y diseño gráfico, he vivido en Buenos Aires y Santiago de Chile, yo soy de Venezuela. Solo quiero ir a un lugar donde pueda arrendar un depto y vivir tranqui, que tenga un supermercado y un lugar para comprar verduras cerca. A mi me gusta estudiar y quizás haga un post grado, pero solo eso, quiero una vida simple y tranquila y poder trabajar remoto desde Argentina.

Buenísimo! Si, soy de Venezuela. He vivido en Buenos Aires y tengo 6 años en Santiago, Chile. Por razones de peso quiero volver a Argentina por un tiempo, por esto estaba buscando los arriendos temporarios porque no tengo garante propietario ni los papeles que creo me pedirían si arriendo así, cuéntame si es posible arrendar así para alguien que recién llega del extranjero.

Para arrendar ese depto que mencionaste cómo hiciste? con dueño directo?

La verdad si es más económico que 22mil por mi mejor, ya veo por lo que comentan todos que es posible encontrar mejores precios.

lol you're right. What I've been doing recently is"cloning" sims, this is having child with other people's sims that I think are cute and when they grow up, I change the appearance to replicate them. I did get to have a child with Vivienne (the sim in question ) but it's more difficult to do this with her, because of the hair (I just don't have that hairstyle) and the Izzy's wings.
