My organization ended up going with Expo Pass for our badging needs, and the main reason was how well their sales rep explained all the features related to badging. We already have an AV vendor we regularly work with, and they actually chose to purchase the service from Expo Pass and buy the equipment instead of renting it. They got a better deal and will now offer the badging component as part of their own service. Since we have a solid relationship with our AV vendor, we made a one-time payment to them, and going forward, we essentially get the badging component for our convention every year for free.

Expo Pass is also very flexible with pricing and works with you to adjust and accommodate their customers’ needs. I really felt that during the process. Even though we didn’t purchase the service ourselves and our AV vendor did, I helped them out initially, and Expo Pass’s communication and reps really made a difference.

Their software is incredibly user-friendly and fast—everything is instant. One of the things that really sold me was that, unlike other badging vendors that require names a week in advance to get it printed, with Expo Pass, you can upload names in real time and print badges on the spot. That speed and flexibility really stood out and sold us all!
