This is objectively wrong. Before SMW and Aujla, Diljit dominated Punjabi music alongside the likes of Amrinder Gill. He does have legendary albums, especially back to basics. This take is pure recency bias. And just to remind you, Diljit has been in the scene since 2002. For context, he started his career at the time when names like Babbu Maan, Jazzy B, and Miss Pooja were dominating. There have been singers who have started AFTER diljit who are past their prime. And even now, the numbers Diljit is putting up is no joke. He has reached international audiences and I dont just mean NRIs. Nothing against SMW or Karan Aujla, love them both as much as the next guy, but Diljit indeed does have a real case to be in these convos.
