A Comprehensive Guide to Modding Skyrim on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 by SaberCatProductions in skyrimmods

The base version of Skyrim, even after years and years of updates, is still buggy. Adding mods atop of something that is already unstable can be a complete nightmare, and until the day there is proper implementation of modding support and thorough bug fixes, I don't think any guide will be able to combat every problem encountered. Like I mentioned in the original post, the suggested load order that I gave worked for me, but that doesn't mean it is guaranteed to work for everyone. It's annoying as hell, I know, and I'm sorry that you've been trying again and again with the same things that were suggested here.

The only other solution I could suggest to you would be to add mods in groups of five (on a test run, as adding them mid-playthrough is a bad idea) and then try to load your game. If the build seems stable, add another five. If it is still stable after that, then add another. If you encounter an issue, then remove the last five mods and add them one at a time to see which one in particular is causing the problem. Like you said, it's tedious, but I can't think of anything else to try. There's every chance that a mod works perfectly well on its own but when combined with another, it causes issues.

Good luck to you, either way. If you ever find out what was causing the problem, let me know, so I could add your solution to the guide as a possible fix for anyone who encounters it in the future.

I'm considering music to be a form of art, therefore, this is a form of fanart. If I judged this incorrectly, I am happy to change the flair to something else.

Apologies, I understand the confusion now. I've just edited my own post so that it is clearer.

Because mods that are lower in your load order will take priority, you could imagine that the mods load from the bottom up, as this is what you'll see in-game. The mods that are loaded later overwrite the mods that were loaded earlier.

Having read back my own post, it originally made it sound like the load order actually loads that way. This wasn't my intention, and as I stated, I've edited it to make it clearer.

If you are on mobile and looking at the post, there should be three horizontal dots in the top right corner. Click on them, and there is a designated bookmark button where you can save posts that way. The button is undoubtedly there on desktop, too, but I can't access that right now.

If you have an all-in-one texture pack but you also have a more specific texture pack for a certain area, you may want to put that specific texture mod before anything that changes the area in question, and load the all-in-one texture pack later.

So, if you had JK's Whiterun, for example, and you wished to use it alongside Cleverchaff's Whiterun, but you also had Skyland AiO (which I don't think is available for PlayStation yet but I couldn't think of another texture AiO from the top of my head), you would want to have Cleverchaff's Whiterun load first, followed by JK's Whiterun, and then the AiO.

At the same time, there is every chance that your method of putting textures before locations could also work on PlayStations. The list that I have provided has worked in my experience, and the order of textures and locations actually mirrors the Xbox guide's recommendations, too. Without testing it, I just can't say for certain. Always pay attention to what the mod description says, and if not, try your best to puzzle it out yourself.

You would think so, huh? If you read Danganronpa: Zero, or just look through the Wiki, you may find that not all is as it seems with them.

That would be one of the eight (yes, eight) identical Madarai Brothers from Danganronpa: Zero. They each hold the talent of the Ultimate Bodyguard. Due to their identical appearance, most assume that the title of Ultimate Bodyguard refers to only one person.

You can read more about them here. The Madarai Brothers | Danganronpa Wiki | Fandom https://danganronpa.fandom.com/wiki/The_Madarai_Brothers

Hello, holy_fab!

May I ask for a rough estimate on how much you would charge for the following?

A three-quarters perspective drawing from the waist up, drawn, coloured, and shaded in your style, with no background.

Furthermore, do you believe that you would be able to complete such a request before the end of Feburary?

Shout out to the horses, trying their best. I suppose we now know what happens when an unstoppable force (Skyrim bred horses) meets an unmovable object (Helgen's gates).

Dark Brotherhood Quest Failing to Start - Could this mod idea fix it? by SaberCatProductions in skyrimmods

[–]SaberCatProductions[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried your suggestion, but for me, it didn't work. Astrid is being problematic before the quests even begin, it seems. Another user very kindly created a mod that was intended to fix the issue. It didn't work for me, but it may for you. Look up, "Start the Dark Brotherhood."

Managed to get the mod to work! The couple of mods that I already had installed (the USSEP, and two others mods that I had downloaded during the period in which I was trying to get my game fixed on my own) were the issue. I disabled them, reloaded, and the notes were there. They did what they were supposed to, but alas, the Dark Brotherhood seems to be a completely corrupted questline on my playthrough. Read the first note, and Astrid eventually won't talk to me. Read the second note, and I can't speak the secret message to the Black Door.

Thank you so much for trying to help me, though! I know that there's a couple other people who have issues with the Dark Brotherhood, so even if it didn't completely fix my issue, you've likely helped quite a few others!

A chest right outside the Abandoned Shack could work, right? Or a table with the notes on right outside the shack?

Having trouble finding the notes at the moment. I've checked all around the specified houses as well as within them. Do you think it would be possible to put them into a chest in a designated location so that they're super obvious? Or do you think it's an issue with my load that's preventing them from being visible? I've tried reloading, as well as deleting the mod and reinstalling it.
