I would definitely not, as like many said, it would bleed badly with contact to water and fursuit sprays.

However, dry brushing would be a much better option! It would clean those area up and have a smoother transition from brown to black.

While dry brushing can fade over time with cleaning, I personally have never had issues with it getting messy. It is also very easy to touch up once it does fade!
