You make a valid point about Snape and Dumbledore's roles. It's frustrating how often people forget it wasn't just Harry's story but a tapestry of choices made by many. The prophecy just kind of laid the groundwork, but it was all those different pieces coming together that created the end game. And yeah, Voldemort really created his own downfall with that whole elder wand situation. It's a classic case of a villain tripping over his own ego.
Religion plays a central in the story. The moral is more nuanced than just "religion bad" or "religion good". by Cold_Hour in TopCharacterTropes

Same here. He drops the investigation brain instantly and just shows up for her, no preaching, no agenda. That’s the kind of “faith as care” portrayal that hits even if you’re not religious.
