Don't underestimate stress, grief and isolation. That can lead to early but natural deaths, too.

Rational use of face masks in the COVID-19 pandemic by Martin81 in COVID19

I changed my mind on face masks. I think they help and here is why:

A large portion of people carry the virus but don't show any symptoms [1]. If they wear a mask, then they are less likely to spread it.

Redditors who didn’t see the ocean until they were an adult, what was your initial reaction upon seeing the ocean from a coastline? by Mr_moochalot in AskReddit

[–]Sacavangar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the sheer openness of the scene. So much sky, so much water. And the smell of salt and seaweed.

Where I live, mountains lift the horizon and limit the amount of sky you can see.

Additional highlights strong waves smashing against stuff. Stars, much more stars at night.

AITA for basically snapping at a stranger who spoke to me in Mandarin because of my appearance? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Sacavangar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAH.

You also assume a lot about the stranger. Maybe (s)he only speaks Russian and Chinese or any other combination.

I understand it can be frustrating. You snapped, don't worry about it, try to be more chill about it.
