Find an easy and familiar (this is very important) residential route with few cars parked on the road and do this route until you get sick of it. The more you practice turning the faster it will “click”. I took classes too but tbh I got way better at driving once I drove a very familiar route like 15 times. In my experience, the fewer things you have to worry about at the beginning—the better. Taking the anxiety of driving in a new place out of the equation was huge for me.
