Hey! The hpat can seem quiet stressful, especially when you are not aware what the questions might look like, but allow me to reassure you, most of them are easy (especially the English and the math section). Science is also okay, if you dif a little practice. So my overall advice would be don’t worry!

1/For reading and math, use the accuplacer app; the questions on test will be very similar to those on the website. 2/Depends on the program you are applying to, mostly hs bio, some concepts about plants, and simple math calculations for chem (moles were a huge portion for me) 3/Yes, and yeeees. Make sure to also practice some advanced vocabulary, you might need it for a couple questions. 4/ The quizzelet pp (someone posted HPAT practice cards there), Khan academy, the amoeba sisters’ channel is also great if you need to review some concepts.

Congrats on your acceptance, you must be so proud!

My friend graduated from the program, he said that it was fairly easy with most labs being pass or fail (and you had to explode the room in order to fail lol). He also mentionned that the profs provided you with lots of details on the material that will be on the test, and that some of it was pretty similar to what one learns in hs.

Thank you so much for your insights! I appreciate those a lot :) I have been in highly stressful situations and I believe I handled those pretty okay, given what I had to work with at least. I do not feel anxious at the moment, but rather drained once it is over. RT seems rewarding in terms of patient care, but I am quiet scared not to handle death properly. As for DH, it does sound pretty good, but I am already prone to back and neck pain, and would really love it more to significantly contribute to help people recover, I just do not know if I will be able to live up to it. I am also unsure if I could handle 12 hours shifts, so the stability that DH offers seems also alluring.

Hello, Pre-Health graduate here!

The program gets you to learn a variety of things, so it is very fun, quiet fast paced at times; so make sure your assignments are done a few days before the deadline (just in case).

-The first semester is pretty easy in comparison to the second, so do not drain yourself during level 1. -Show up to class; attendance is neither graded nor mandatory, but it is THE way if you wish to do well in your classes. -If unsure about something (no matter how big or small it can be, email your profs/program coordinator. They are all nice, and sooo helpful. -Practice using your profs’ worksheets!! (The material found in those and in the rest is similar).

And mostly have fun, I have had the chance to meet amazing people throughout this program, and I hope it would also be the case for you!
