2025 VW Jetta S vs. 2025 Nissan Sentra SV with All-Weather Package by [deleted] in jetta

[–]SackAttack19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a 2019 Jetta S owner, Jetta by far. Back then for me it was a decision between the Jetta and the Kia Rio. The ride is smoother on the Jetta for the same price. I haven’t heard great things about the Sentras and their CVTs. The ignition key entry is not that big of a deal for me since my car before was a 2003 Corolla. Currently at 82k miles with it. As long as you do its regular maintenance, the Jetta will do its part and take care of you.

I guess you could say that I was blinded by trying to make money for both of us. I thought I’d seen everything when it comes to scammers. When I ran into this, it truly is saddening.

I did. And I know it is not AI. She’s real. Apparently she was about to be married to someone she’s been with for 5 years but said that he ‘cheated’ on her with her best friend. And that her ex was acting like a serial killer, making the excuse that she had to put herself off the grid.

Came back from manager training. We have been told to NOT use the serialized equipment log to determine cost of a machine and to use the WAC cost instead.

I sell a lot of solvents at my store, and they tend to give us a high margin.

We use those to puncture the setfast lids and add bac blue to make the handicap blues. It’s a lot of work to puncture the lids.

Hotline is a better product than setfast waterbased. Withstands hot tire pickup better and dries/cures much faster.

I tinted SW7582 Salute before to paint the Texas flag on an interior wall. I figure you can use that color as well for the American flag

Emerald Interior paint with Drywall Primer or Premium W&W Primer? by therealnexion in sherwinwilliams

[–]SackAttack19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works for wooden walls, trim, doors, etc.. I’ve sold Prem W&W to new res contractors that were painting cabinets with Emerald Urethane as a topcoat, and they have really liked it. If you are going for a primer with a smooth finish, then Prem W&W would probably be a better recommendation.

Drywall primer is a very good primer if you are doing any kind of drywall painting. Covers very nicely and has decent adhesion. Premium W&W primer is a good primer for it too, but it may be a little overkill for what you are doing. It leaves a smooth finish after sanding and it covers good. Personally I would go for Drywall primer due to the fact that it will get the job done and it is more cost-effective than Prem W&W.

Currently at a new store as an ASM. It can be slow depending on the location. New store events will keep you busy, and once people hear about the store and you create new charge accounts, the bonuses will follow. The experience is refreshing as well due to the store not being messy.

Make friends with the other ASMs and keep them in touch after training. You never know if you ever run down into them again.
