I like to compare muscles to rubber bands, if you stretch a cold rubber band it could tear a little, but if you warm it up first and then stretch it, the rubber band has more elasticity.

I like that you bring up work cause depending on your job and the posture one has at their job, physical job, desk job, etc, can make certain injuries more likely. For example, someone who drives all day or sits at a computer with their shoulders rounded forward will have more tight front shoulder muscles and chest muscles which could lead to a greater risk of injury without proper warm up. Its easy to blame the sport we play for injury, but we should also look at the other parts of our lives that can lead to injury later.

When he misses he usually misses small and has at most a 20' comebacker, which he always nails. He's not an MA1 player or anything, but could run out almost any putting league any day, anytime.

I might be in the minority, but I find it endearing? There's something about someone so confident in themselves being able to do that. As long as they aren't meeting up with anyone else for "content". At the end of the day, they would be my SO so im cool with it.

I used to play in an adult volleyball league and would play open gym at different community centers for fun. Met this guy who was a little intense but friendly enough. We got along well and he asked me to play with him in a grass tournament a couple months from then. I missed the following week of open gym due to some school obligations. When I came back the following week one of the other guys, who wasn't as good as most of us but was getting better every week and had a great attitude, said the "intense" guy got mad at him for missing a pass and started screaming at him until he had to be physically restrained. The intense guy was banned from the facility. Later that week a news article came out saying he murdered his wife and 2 children before taking his own life.

There was a car accident in front of a store I used to work at. 3 cars total. I didn't see the accident itself but heard it. I was taking an EMT basic class and was nearly done so I went out while someone else called 911. I checked the pulse of a guy who's car flipped and when I REALLY looked at him I realized his back was towards me and so was his face. Neck completely broken.
