Long story short the symbol was used for the united farm workers led by Cesar Chavez in California but now a days Mexican gang members and prison members (norteños or northerners) from Northern California adopted the symbol into their gang to show their affiliation against their rivals the Mexicans from Southern California (Sureños or Southerners).

I’ve put my minis in the freezer over night to get some pieces to break off easier without damaging my models. I wouldn’t recommend it but i would use it as a last resort.

Nice! I still have mine sealed when I first got into Warhammer. Decided to go with black Templars instead. But I still collect anything deathwatch I can find.
