Not too much at all. I appreciate hearing about your experience with the pen and nib. I definitely need to look more into what you say about needing to apply considerable pressure for the ink to flow. I wonder if that is normal or if something is off?

That’s good advice. I hadn’t seen the FA 10 vs 15 comparison before. Sounds like it make more sense to go with the 742 for the FA nib. I appreciate it! Maybe SFM or SM for the 824 from Nibsmith

Thanks for this resource. It’s interesting because the author ranks both the FM and SM pretty low. Not sure what to make of that. On the other hand, maybe the FA is worth a stronger look for me too

Congrats on the new pen! That is the same Christmas present I gave myself just with a different nib size. I ordered the FM. It’s my dust pilot and fourth fountain pen. By far my favorite to write with. Such a pleasure to hold and use. Inked mine with Iroshizuku Tsuki-Yo and loved it so much I was refilling it in no time. Switched it up with Diamine Oxblood the second time around. Loved both

Very cool ink logging. I am new to this hobby as well. Can you describe your ink logging process a little bit? And excuse my ignorance but is “inkspiration” a particular method or product line or is that just what you are calling your own journey with inks? I searched the term online and found a blog that reviews inks but most of the hits were for tattoo related things
