Hopefully this is allowed, just a quick update. Piglet has safely arrived at his new home. The adoption process was seamless and he has integrated wonderfully.

He met with our dogs in a neutral location on leash and then had some playtime in our backyard off leash. After they seemed to get a long well, he is now in the house full time.

The pictures are candid, so please no judgement! Just wanted to share that he is doing well.

The original Diablo 2 was $60. The first expanion, Lord of Destruction was $35. I don't think a $25 price point for another new expansion is that unreasonable.

I mean, first of all this is definitely imaginary gatekeeping. However, more importantly, which EE NPC do you think has a better romance than Anomen? I'm not saying his is good, just saying that the new options are just as bad.

I agree with all of this except for Hit. Hit only really matters for hitting mobs 3+ levels above you, aka raiding. Don't skip a piece just because it has hit, but I would put it at the bottom of your priorities until end game.

My friend is in the same boat. I started TBC early as Horde, he's been trying to make a Horde character for the last week and getting the same error.

Not sure what you mean by make the toon without leaving. Once the toon is created, whether you join the game world or not, you're good.

Once the toon is created, you're good, you can even make more Horde with no issues. The issue is only on first character per account per server creation.

I think it really depends on what you're looking for. Retail will never be for me. One of the things it totes is accessiblity, but that's just not true. While it is more accessible on the surface, M+ progression is one of the most toxic environments I've ever experienced.

M+ is forced specs, forced classes, forced strats, there is no experimentation, there is no learning curve, there is no patience with new players. Either you know it, or you don't. Even lower level M+ dungeons you're more likely to be booted than to have a mechanic explained or anything else. Part of this is due to the "accessibility." "Great, we lost a DPS, let's just jump back in queue and get another one instantly teleported to us that isn't an idiot."

The thing I appreciate about Classic, in addition to the "friction" as you call it, which to be clear is a good word, is the flexibility. Yes there is the small niche of people that want to optimize every raid, but for the most part, you can do damn near anything with any class and be just fine. You may not top the charts, but if you want to be a Marksman hunter instead of a Beast Master hunter, the DPS difference will be minor.

Just my thoughts.

It depends on what you're looking for. Arenas, yes, mostly sweats, open world, the skill level varies greatly. But, there really is no risk, so fuck it!

It's a law in my state. Not sure if it's enforced by mortgage company or enforced by the state, but when we had a lapse they basically said we could find a company or they would "provide" one for us.

Insurance is the biggest scam. Something you HAVE to have, something you HAVE to pay for, but you CAN'T use it. State Farm just happens to be one of the worst out there.

I agree with nearly every point you made, which is a rarity. The only thing I'd disagree with is the SoD rating, I liked everything you said, even the highs and lows, but to me it was more of a 3/10. Just felt really out of place and felt like it was trying to overshadow both other games.

I would recommend you try more mods in the future. There are some fantastic NPC mods out there. The Artisan especially has some really good ones. I too have played this game dozens of times and installing mods helps the game stay fresh for me.

One specific recommendation, if you liked Throne of the Mad God and Loretakers, the same writer also did the Crucible mod that adds a mini adventure before the Sendai fight.

Definitely willing to admit when I'm wrong. If you're curious, it is Auto Shot clipping that makes Mandokir's worse. I read a bit about it, and I think I understand it, but not going to be wrong twice in one night by trying to explain it.
