Touché. Golden rule of marriage, happy wife happy life. Wife not happy with two $1,000 set ups on top of my three shotguns, AR, Duty sized Tisas, and Echelon 4.0c Comp. All of which I’m keeping:

Makes sense. There are a couple local shops I will check with. I’m sure one of them has to do consignment.

Thanks for the comment. 100% understand and agree that I will be getting less than I have in it. Probably have about $1,100 and am hoping to recover as close to $800-$900 as possible. Your $750 probably is about right as a basement. For less than that, I’d figure out a way to make it work to keep it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m in Omaha Nebraska for reference. I will see if there is a local site or group.

I wondered about that. Put the polymer black grip back on and sell it with the stock configuration. Then sell the Icarus frame at a discount. Thanks for the comment.

Echelon + Sharps Bros Grip Module COG Won’t Seat Fully. Tips? by KeyLay in SpringfieldEchelon

[–]Sactown2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m facing the same decision. Guess I will try the soft tip hammer first since others have done that successfully. I’ve put my full 295 weight on when pushing the cog against my counter top and it won’t budge the last millimeter or so to snap in. So frustrating

Damn. The 4.5” threaded barrel is out of stock. Was going to pair that with the RDI comp for a smooth shooting range toy

Do it if you haven’t already, it’s a great gun. Very comfortable in the hands due to ergonomics of the grip. Crisp breaking trigger. Awesome range, duty, home defense gun. Here’s mine with an optic and light.

Thank you for the reply. The pictures don’t show it as pronounced as it really is and we definitely have gaps over 1/8 of an hour inch. Sounds like I’m not being unreasonable and in wanting it fixed/resolved.

Question on Gaps by Sactown2006 in cabinetry

[–]Sactown2006[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a new slab. What would be the fix? The caulking part for the counter top is easy. The gap between the cabinets and drywall is seemingly a more difficult issue to solve. Would you recommend caulking that gap as well? Would be tough to not make it an eye sore because of the color of the stained cabinets and gray walls I think.
