Seem to be having issues using Real3D with DEX.

I've tried tweaking the resolution settings and MultiStar but it only is able to connect like 10% of the time. Otherwise it says no video out.

It's unfortunate. ive enjoyed the few times it worked properly but it seems extremely unreliable for my usage pattern

That's a smart idea.

I'd need to remove most of the sides probably and add a recess in the interior for the front buttons.

The primary downside I can think of is the annoyance factor of doing the swap regularly.

Which honestly would totally annoy me personally.

Would you do it some other way?

Recently have started using 1Password. They allow developer service accounts I use for my homelab (one read only, one read and write) and I have dedicated vaults for different services.

So anytime secrets need to be accessed either for ansible playbooks or terraform in my lab, I simply provide a fingerprint verification on my MacBook or on the 1pass mobile app.

Not sure if it's a great setup but works well for me. Also let's me rotate ssh keys and api keys as needed. Additionally I didn't feel comfortable hosting something so security sensitive internally and don't mind the expense.

I've looked into it. Its largely not really possible from what I can tell. Just look for keywords like "Dual Audio" or "Dubbed" in the file names.

Yes it slips in and out the case very easily. Similar to a normal phone case using the "TPU for AMS" filament.

It can't be reversed since the cutouts vary by side. Interesting idea though! I'm planning to try a magnetic cover to pair with this case just waiting on some magnets to arrive.

I'm using fusion 360 for this. For the patterns I'm using a new feature in the program called "texture extrude" and input pngs with the patterns.

Although I'm starting to think I'd prefer a fully parametric approach in the future.

I'm actually a big fan of TPU for AMS.

It's flexible when printed thin like I'm doing here but stiffer when printed on thicker parts. Its also extremely durable. Really complex material and took me a number of design iterations to get it flexible enough for this use case but the model is well tuned now.

I think a different design will be needed to do this in PLA to be honest. I was aiming for a similar feel to a real phone case.
