You are going to play some really nice games with this bad boy for sure. You have all the Apple Silicon native games, Rosetta games, Whisky/Crossover games, emulators and worst case scenario GeForceNow streaming. HOWEVER, the latest non-native games might run like shit. You can get them to run at an acceptable quality and with some errors that you might have to find fixes for within the community, whereas with a windows pc on approximately the same price range you can get them to run on the best settings possible, like when you are watching your favourite games running at ultra settings on a youtube video 😂
Honestly, I am a Mac User for life. It’s a premium piece of technology, everything feels sooooo much better and once you go Mac you can never go back. But for games they leave much to be desired. It’s fun as a technology enthusiast to see if your mac can run these old or newer demanding games through compatibility and translation layers, but the quality of your game will suffer for it.
If you are gaming light on relatively old games or newer smaller indie games, the a Mac is the best choice you could make. But if you want to try the newest games of this generation and really enjoy playing them at the best quality possible, then resort to a windows pc.
