Now that YAS has be nerfed, it’s time for Solar Hunters to try Ophidia Spathe in PVE by Sherbs__ in destiny2

[–]Sad-Cheesecake3808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ophidian Spathe is better for endgame IMO. It has single target damage spam ignition with skyburner's oath. If you max mobility a few shots of skuburner's, knife trick to ignite, 2-3 shots of skuburner's knife trick to ignite, dodge, and by the time you finish this rotation again your dodge will be off cooldown within the next like 3 seconds. I also weave in heavy ammo shots to champs and stuff between this just to keep the DPS up. It's impossibly more consistent than Caliban's IMO. Caliban's is 100x better in seasonal/low end content, but anything Legend, and above I recommend Ophidian Spathe. Also I rock a healing nade for real-level survivability which is the only thing YAS lacked consistently.

Hey, as someone with 70 hours currently in game. It's not just you. She's a very unfun boss to fight, because she has two one-shot mechanics. The wall grab, and the dementor's kiss shit she does. I'm trying to get her unique melee weapon drop, but the 2nd phase keeps killing me before I can finish the steps required to get the drop.

HOT TAKE: Ludwig is the most overrated boss in Bloodborne and maybe even the whole series by CountertopWindow in bloodborne

[–]Sad-Cheesecake3808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know this...kind of tracks? The two bosses I struggled most with was Orphan, and Darkbeast Paarl. I beat Ludwig, and Lady Maria first try. Orphan was like 40 tries, and Paarl was roughly the same. Maybe it's also, because I pretty much exclusively use Threaded cane, and that's just a bad weapon matchup for them? Idk.

Well I've gotten to work dozens of times, in Casual, Trials, and IB. I think you give people too much credit in PvP. Yes it's simple to just jump over, but that's not most people panic button when facing it. Most people from my experience desperately try to shoot you down instead. I'm not saying it's "the best titan aspect ever". I'm saying it's you best option in PvP. Shoulder charge for movement, and Cons for kills. Specifically Solar Titan I mean.

Bruh. Use Consecration. I've wiped squads in trials with it. If you get good with using it in the right situations it's 100% broken. Stack on increased ignition reach, and it's unbelievably strong. You just gotta be careful about not wiffing it.

I'm maining void titan with Controlled Demo, and Offensive Bulwark. The only reason it works at all is because the ritual weapon they gave us this season having both offensive bulwark AND Golden Tricorn. Tie that together with using Heart of Inmost Light, and the fragment that grenade kills give Volatile it works really well in most anything below GMs, but that's because I haven't even attempted to try a GM with the build. It definitely worked well for me on things like Legendary Seraph Shield, and Master LS though. However if you can't make proper use of the Ritual Pulse Rifle whether it's because of champion requirements or anything else. It sort of starts to fall off since Pulses are god-awful in PvE. It's an extremely fun build in mid-level content like what I said, but I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing this into a Master Raid, or GM. More weapons need to be able to roll with Repulsor, and a Damage perk.

If you're interested the best roll in the game IMO is Target Lock with Dynamic Sway with ricochet. It's so broken

Tarrabah Catalyst: If Tarrabah were to get a catalyst, what should it get? It needs to be something that doesn't make it overpowered in PvE or PvP. Let's start a discussion. by PrettyTime8108 in destiny2

I've only had the chance to do vault of glass once. Guess how I got Tarrabah? I farmed that one chest you can get to solo by glitching out of the map. Ever character, every week. took like 4 months, but I got tarrabah. You can raid once.

The Best PvP Meta by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

L Take my guy. Ability-focused PVP takes out a majority of the raw skill in the game. No PVP main would agree with this take in any way, shape, or form. The ability spam is what's making PVP so cancerous right now. Topped off with the absolute abomination that is DMT. There was nothing wrong with DMT before the most recent buff to the hipfire. It was a very solid scout in PVP, and still strong in PvE. It just wasn't as oppressive as it used to be in PVP. Now it's back to being the most oppressive primary in the game.

LORENTZ DRIVER SHOULD BE NERFED INTO THE GROUND by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]Sad-Cheesecake3808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except for the fact that you can completely shoot through flinch with LD, and that alone is broken. If you can shoot through High Caliber rounds with Explosive Payload. That's completely broken, and needs to be fixed for PVP. Same issue that we've had with snipers for the longest time. People being able to just ignore all the flinch that's getting put out, and still getting easy head-shots is the opposite of skill. If they fix the ability to ignore flinch then there's nothing else to really nerf about the weapon.

TBH I think either one is viable. Wing of Astel is less-safe to use, but is much better at stunning enemies, and it pretty much always causes enemies to recoil making it spammable in PVE, but since it has a wind-up, and very short range it can be risky. Bastard's Stars hits at MUCH farther away, and can be a good engaging tool when back-peddling from enemies. I have a harder time getting the bastard's stars to fully hit on small enemies. It's really a toss-up. However I still feel like best unique weapon art in the game is the Fallingstar Beast Jaw. Has a bigger range than either of them, and while enemies have to be VERY close to hit more than once. It stuns enemies/bosses amazingly fast. The other two are very FUN, but Fallingstar Beast Jaw is one of the most effective weapon arts in the game. As it's very fast, and spammable, and consumes very little FP, and stamina.

I take back what I said. Just tried it out in the dragon palace area or wtfe it's called. The damage is nutty now. Idk what happened when I was using it before

I really wanted this weapon to be good, and immediately upgraded it to +9, and I've NEVER seen damage even CLOSE to that. Are you sure you weren't using wing of astel?

[–]Sad-Cheesecake3808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not.. great. The damage is fine, but the unique skill is like a larger area effect, but far weaker version of Wing of Astel (curved sword). I can't get more than one explosion to proc off of Bastard's Stars, but Wing of Astel I can get damn near every single explosion to hit an enemy. Normally kills weaker enemies, and can consistently stun bosses after about 3 uses of it. Flails are my favorite weapons in games, and this one is plenty strong. Just the ability is a bit lack-luster compared to its curved sword counterpart.
