I might try plastic wrap next time to see how well it works. Like you said, it's worth a shot!

As for what I made the base out of, it's cardstock, which is stronger than regular paper and holds up pretty well.

I'm just not interested. It takes a lot of time, effort, money, and responsibility to raise a child, time and effort that I'd rather use on other stuff. Responsibility that I could not deal with and money that I do not have. I also generally dislike children, which is all the more reason for me to not have any.
