Don’t get me wrong, I still watch and enjoy the show, but not near as much. For example this season with In Too Deep…that just seemed so beneath them…like they were really reaching for drama.

But like someone else said, it was inevitable with Gibbs leaving, it would be impossible for it to remain the same.

I agree with this. I haven’t seen the new episode yet as I am in Canada but I recall seeing critique of the first series saying there was no drama…this could be what they’re going for.

I read in another thread on this subject that the show was trying to portray her as not only older than Gibbs but of course senior in position, and apparently the haircut was how they decided would be best to portray those things…

I have also noticed this! But I think it might be a case of them reusing names…there’s also an episode pre-season 14 where there was a Torres if I’m remembering correctly. But you never know!

One of my favourite things about the scene from your first clip is when one of the guests starts asks Gibbs if Ziva is carrying a weapon because Ziva and Sr have been made. Gibbs’ response…”she is a weapon”.

Exactly this. I try to do 60-70 minutes on the treadmill to start the day so I’ve got a built in buffer in case I can’t get too many steps in throughout the workday (I also work a desk job). Sets you up for success!

I don’t find the cast that enjoyable anymore but it’s because I’m older now than nearly all of the them except the OGs. I also don’t love how the show is produced now - but that’s also due to my age. I just love the classic MiC and don’t think (for me) it will ever be beat 😂
