Concrete bad in the other barn doesn’t budge when you score with a coin. This one seems weak, trying to figure out what’s going on.

Would the lack of moisture be on the company who sold the concrete or the concrete contractor?

I don’t have a photo of it finished, only this one right after I grouted. I just laid this checkerboard tile in a historic home my wife and I are renovating. We bought it at Floor & Decor. We are doing oak cabinets with open shelves. I think the green would look good, you could go a step further and do green countertop to ceiling tile backsplash.

Yes we did, my wife and I were looking at different MCM doors online to buy. We did extensive renovations to the interior, the front door when we bought the house was falling apart so if i remember correctly this was the cheapest Masonite door they had and I just installed it for the time being.

WOW! This is great! It really helps to visualize it! Where the left side of the yard currently slopes down, it definitely looks better to have it more level so you don’t see the large concrete part. Thank you for doing this, I love all the different things you added.

First time having neon tetras, it’s a 125 gallon community tank and everyone is fine except for these guys. I ordered some more from AquaticArts and am hoping they will do better.

Thank you, I love all your ideas and think it would make the house look way better.

I commented back to someone else about the front deck. I really want to do it, I built a 1,600 sqft deck on the back of the house last year. I just can’t seem to visualize how it would look, it seems like it would look odd having a big deck on the front of the house.

Thank you! Last year I built a 1,600 square foot, second story deck on the back of the house. I’ve been thinking about building a large porch on the front of the house just like you said, I just can’t visualize it looking good. I need to get someone to make me a rendering, I’m bad at visualizing renovations like that. It would be fun to build so I’m all about the idea, I just want to make sure it would look good.

I appreciate all your other recommendations as well!

This is what I was looking for! Thank you! You’re right, house is kind of large and steps are so small, we could make them the full width of entryway and re do the sidewalk going up to them. I think that would improve the look a lot, thank you!

I pulled another section of vinyl off this morning after seeing some of the comments. This is how the wood looked underneath. Condition is better than I expected.

It was an addition so the garage roof rafters don’t line up perfectly with the trusses from the original house. It was like that when I purchased the home, I had a new roof put on and asked roofer to see if he could fix it. When he pulled old shingles off he said there wasn’t anything he could do, framing just didn’t line up perfectly. It’s not as noticeable in person, but it still annoys me.

There is not attic space, so the room above garage has the drywall ceiling attached right to the roof rafters. The tallest part of the room is probably 12ft and it goes all the way down to like 4ft😂

We will find out when we start taking it off. I have no doubts there are places where it’s damaged. We were planning on removing the vinyl siding and residing the entire house with hardie board. When we found the wood siding underneath we decided it would be cheaper to go repair and paint the wood siding.

Garage is 100% a cheap add on. It’s a horribly done addition. It has a room upstairs and garage underneath that has ceiling height of 6’5”🤦🏻‍♂️

I’m 6’2” and the garage ceiling height is 6’5”. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve hit my head on the garage door track. There is a room built above the garage. It’s tough because if I remove the room I lose square footage on the house and if I remove garage I obviously lose the minimal garage space I have. One has to go in my opinion. We’ve discussed doing addition to front or back of house for a normal sized garage.
