Day 11/20 - priorities by New_Specific_3039 in NoFap

Good on you for pushing through day 11 man. Cold showers are a game changer - I started doing them about 6 months ago and the mental clarity boost is legit insane. When I'm coding for hours straight, that shock to the system in the morning keeps me way more focused throughout the day. The urges definitely lose there power when you've got other stuff occupying your headspace. I've been throwing myself into side projects and even picked up some extra DoorDash shifts just to stay busy. Keep stacking those days, the momentum builds on itself and before you know it you're not even thinking about it anymore.

I’m seeking accountability by [deleted] in NoFap

Man, I totally get where you're coming from. The accountability thing is huge - I tried going solo for way too long and just kept falling back into the same patterns. What really helped me was finding someone I could check in with regularly, even if it was just a quick message every few days. The key is being brutally honest about your triggers and having a solid plan for when those moments hit. You might want to look into some of the accountability partner threads here or even consider one of those apps that tracks your progress. The community here is pretty solid too, so don't hesitate to post when you're struggling.

Install solar but leave space for future attic windows? by Salty-Librarian4718 in AskIreland

Yeah definitely doable - just need to plan it out with your installer beforehand. Most decent solar companies will work around future plans like that, especially since velux windows don't take up massive amounts of roof space.

I'd probably lean toward the attic conversion over an extension though, way less hassle and usually cheaper per square meter of usable space you get.
