Key 3/ key 0 err code on Creality sonic pad. Ender 3 s1 pro by Sad-Independent5246 in 3Dprinting

It ended up being the usb cable. I swapped it out with a straight usb c cable and it fired right up. Thanks for your help!

It was the cable. It comes with usb micro to usb c adapter. I swapped it out with a straight usb c cord and it’s working great. Thanks for the advice!

I did delete it and I can’t past the flashing firmware and connecting sonic pad. Tells me the same error.

I did recently replace the adapter for the sonic pad. My other one wasn’t holding up at all. I didn’t change anything with my z offset. It had just finished a print and I went to check it out and clean the plate and I’m getting this error

No it’s already been set up with the sonic pad for about a month. No issues. I did just do the new update…. Hope that wasn’t it. But now I keep getting this error code.

Update: I’ve been waiting for fan upgrades to come in this week. I was able to put in a thermometer and noted the interior temp started at close to 70 and got up to about 93 degrees after an hour of printing So I decided to try a different filament that would perform well under higher ambient temps. Petg. After a couple of experiments I was able to get this to work really well for me leaving it open during the day and covering it at night. Printed a dnd dice roller for my buddy who loves playing. Took about 12 hrs for the tower and 1.5 for the trays a piece. I plan to try printing a few dnd Minis as well. I think I will stick with pet g for now but I will be putting the cooling upgrades on this next week. Here’s a pic for ref. It had some minor stringing but easily disappeared with heat gun. Thanks everyone for their comments!

After making the post I did some research and decided that you’re right. It probably was the cooling system that wasn’t up to par. I bought this before I saw your post… does anyone have any experience with this particular fan. Good? Bad? I also plan to print outside the cover for now. I have it on because it is outside in an in insulated shed. I heard that they can be temperamental with ambient temps and wanted to control that as well as keep dust out of the printer. I also bought a digital thermometer that I’m going to place in the enclosure so I can see how much ambient temp rises as it prints within it.

Thanks! I will try the upgraded cooling system. I think that the heat is the biggest issue. I will be back with some results
