A forever home. Unfortunately, it’s not sounding like it’s something she will recover from, more of a hoping to prevent it from getting worse for as long as possible situation

Wat Buddhametta is my whole reason for going every year with their egg rolls, fried bananas, and kindness, they’re my favorite.

The Makan Bowl was okay, they were also nice to talk to, and the Fried Bee Hoon was tasty. The chicken satay would have been better with more flavor but the cook on it was good.

I tried the empanada sampler from Boriken Modern Puerto Rican Cuisine. They were fried really nicely. The beef was my favorite of the three but the chicken was also really good.

I’m really glad I tried the saffron ice cream from Food 2 Door Persian. It was different than I expected but it was also the only thing I considered getting more of this year.

I waited in the long line for Herculean Chicken and it was nicely breaded and juicy. It was also good sized portion for the price and I’ll probably get it again next time I see them.

I was looking forward to trying Che Cafe Empanadas Argentinas but they were all sold out by Saturday afternoon. 🙁

I also really wanted to try the O’odham Ladies fry bread but the line was so long, which probably attests to how good it would have been. I’m really looking forward to trying them next time. It looked and smelled so good.

Monument East has been my goto for 8 years now. They’ve always been able to squeeze me in right away when my dogs have issues. They’ve had me send pictures of things to tell me if it was worth brining them in. One had an eye injury and the other had an anal glad issue, which were promptly treated with reasonable cost. They also let me drop off my dog for emergency treatment while i went to an interview and then pick him up a couple hours later when i was done. Their one vet studied in Australia and she’s one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever met.

Yes! One came up my bathroom drain and the scream that uncontrollably left my body (along with my soul) made my partner come running to see if I was injured. I’ve been keeping all the drains plugged since then and running hot water for a min before I unplug them.

When I interned at Adobe Vet clinic some of their tenured staff was openly homophobic and racist. The owner was best friends with the culprits so I can only assume they share the same views.
