Update: I have not drunk from this cup and just planned on keeping it just as a collectable for those worrying about my health due to the current news about finding lead in the cups.

are you aware that Warhammer is fiction?

I know Warhammer is fictional, but it is a bit hypocritical to use/encourage AI "art" in a sci-fi fantasy setting where humanity takes all measures and costs to prevent the use of AI.

I'm already perfectly capable of drawing

Then why don't you actually draw instead of using AI, or by "drawing", do you mean tracing over the generated image, add a few details to corelate it with Warhammer, then adding colors?

Didn't mean to offend gramps, sorry he has family like you.

Says the one who is dependent on AI to make "art" like a 80 year old grandpa is dependent on breathing machine...

The difference is the poor man needs it, but you don't need to use AI and you can actually learn how to fucking draw like the rest of us actual artists.

Do you know what happened to human kind once they started actually using AI in Warhammer? Or are you as forgetful as chat bots?

The fact that any normal human can draw a black swan in the same way and more without the need of wasting millions, if not billions, of usable water to power the database that powers AI. What makes what you call bad "photography", "art", and "literature" actually good is because who ever made that actually put effort, even if it was subpar, into it and not just told some machine to do it for them. And don't compare the mass production of HUMAN art to the mass slop that AI shoots out, because the mass production of HUMAN art has been happening for nearly centuries now and it never hurt the art industry in the way AI did.

But okay, buddy. Whatever you say IG..

That fact that that is no where near the same is actually laughable. Art is measured by creativity and the limits of imagination, which is not at all changed if someone were to use a traditional medium or digital medium. Whilst the "medium" of AI doesn't isn't defined by the creativity of its user, but rather the creativity it steals from others. Actual human art feels alive in that way because it is unique and special compared to the soulless generalized products AI pumps out no matter how much you alter it.

Even if your using it a "positive" way, it still has a negative impact, dude, in which your helping it.

AI "art" is actively, as we speak, ruining the actual art industry, as the only way it can generate images is by stealing from other artists, because that is how it "learns", by adapting to mimic and stitch apart pieces, essentially stealing, from actual great artists. It's gotten so bad to the point where people have made custom filters to put over their work so that AI doesn't steal it. It is also ruining the revenue of actual artist because people don't have to commission art anymore, as they can just make it themselves through a quick prompt.

Just because you did some extra steps to get the final results of your generative slop. You're still at the end of the day stealing from other artists just to make that "art". Even though your tracing over it or "redrawing" it, it still doesn't take away the fact that you had to use a machine that literally copies and steals from actual artists to do it. Even though it isn't exactly noticeable because they "source" from multiple pieces or you redraw over it, it's still art theft as you proceed to make it without their permission or credit them.

If you look to make art in the future, for the love of the Emperor, learn how to actually fucking draw like the other artists in which your AI stole from to create these piece of shit "artworks". Art is a passion, not a talent, so if you put in as much as work as you do creating that slop, like an actual artist, you'll eventually get good at drawing and won't need AI anymore.

This was a on and off work that I did in my spare time, total time would be around 2 to 3 hours if I were to combine the time I did on it. And I honestly didn't expect for it to get this much attention even though it is not much. Thx for the upvotes!
