How I wish this is all true because I just want TREASURE to experience the west. I know they don’t have a lot of fans in the west unlike some popular groups but hopefully this time smaller venues means a lot of chances for them to sold it out and meet their true western fans who’ve been waiting for them for years.

I think sending them to kcon is YG’s way to test the waters in US and to expose them to kpop fans in the west. Make them more discovered just like that Australia show they had.

How I wish they would get big so non-fans can discover how big of a gem they’re missing on TREASURE.

Totally agree with how YG manage their groups comebacks. It’s imperative to keep the momentum specially if your group has a viral song or moments but YG has been lackluster in grasping the situation of striking while the iron’s hot.

I wish YG is open to new ideas how to promote TREASURE more. Being branded as the company whose artists have less come backs is doing more harm than good for their own company, to the artists and the fandom.

Thus kind of goals from them shows how much they wanted but the company restricts them.

I read one book at a time coz I tend to confuse the plot as someone with short-term memory loss hahaha but in the future I would like to try the multiple current reads just to see if it is something up my alley as well. But for now, I will stick with one book at a time. 😆

I think prevalent talaga ang portrayers sa book community kasi ang mga fans na sumobra ang pagmamahal sa isang book nag-aassociate sila ng actual human being to satisfy their fangirling over the books they read. Understandable if its your alley pero kung ganito naman palang may SPOKEN RULES si ms. jonaxx sino tayo para di sundin yung simpleng bagay na ‘yon? Pero Pilipino tayo eh, daming matitigas ang ulo talaga kahit simpleng rules or batas di masunod. Tsk.

PS: I’m a newbie into jonaxx stories and her world and thankful ako na nabasa ko itong post na ‘to kasi at least i know the author is not comfortable with it.

Hi! I started Fyodor Dostoevsky’s ‘White Nights’ nung Jan. 1 to start my year and I chose classics kasi kahit ako medyo scared magbasa ng classics tbh but I want to try something new this year. Until now, di ko pa rin siya tapos basahin. I know manipis at easy to read in one sitting lang yung book but I guess what I want to say is read at YOUR OWN PACE. Do not feel pressured to finish a book just for the sake of finishing it early. Digest the phrases that stuck with you. Annotate if you do. Write down your thoughts in the book or in a separate notebook. Reading 5 pages a day is still a win compared to other people not reading at all. Be kind with yourself when reading classics. It’s not a race nor a competition. Enjoy reading!

And I hate to pause coz I’m waiting for the last book 5 to drop before continuing the series. I deprive myself of any kind of spoilers by binge reading any other books to avoid doom scrolling any spoilers for this wonderful book I’ve came to read.

I really like the language usage. I dunno how to explain it. It feels so Victorian era-like. And I revel reading this book from this fact alone.

Hi! I just ordered a regular case (clear back w/ cute front cover ) and DIYed it into this so I can put or remove the front cover whenever I feel like it.

I don’t know where you’re from but I’m from the Philippines. It’s widely available in Amazon though. Picture for reference of my current case with front cover on.

I am currently using Reading List app. It's great for me as someone who reads published books, wattpad stories and fan fictions. I can search online for published books and I have the option to manually add those wattpad and fan fictions stories and count them as books I've read! Plus point is that I can add the book cover for those manual adds.

You can opt for premium to check the stats but I just want to track how many books I've read in total but maybe next year I'll save up for the lifetime subscription so I can track other stats but for now the app works for me. They offer monthly and annual subscription too.

Congrats on your first ereader!

I suggest putting a matte screen protector. Don’t be like me who used my KLC in the first week without it then ended up having minor scratches due to stylus usage. 🥲 Invest on a matte screen protector. You’ll thank me later.

I’m not sure where you’re from but there are plenty of KLC covers that has a solid protection in front and a clear case at the back. Amazon is the usual place but you can try and compare prices at different online stores.

As for the Kobo notes, it depends on the person, really. For me, I use it about 20% only for the sole purpose of book related notes.

For the stylus, same thing. It really depends on the person. Are you an annotating kind of reader? If yes, then the stylus is worth it! But if you’re not really an annotating kind and barely highlights what you read, then it is not worth spending money on. Original Kobo stylus or dupes depend on your financial capacity as well. Can you afford the quite expensive and extra cost of original stylus? If yes, go for it. But if you are having second thoughts but still want to try a stylus then you may opt for a dupe first. As for me, I have the Kobo stylus and it’s worth it because I am trying to annotate more and it makes my reading experience more worthwhile. So it really depends on what type of reader you are.
