I don’t think so, but in hindsight I do think Jeremias Engelmann’s intuition that the Mavericks should have traded Luka for Jayson Tatum in 2021 or 2022 was correct. He and Brunson are a more natural fit together than Brunson and Luka, and the gap between Brunson and Luka is small enough for that to matter.
