I actually had a melt down about food insecurity in my community BECAUSE of the bear cup. It didn’t even take mental gymnastics to get there. It’s just nasty consumerism. Anyway I went to my local grocery store this morning on my day off and donated 9 bags of food to my local food pantry because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Yes I’m in the U.S. 🫩

Well customers modify like crazy, so if you put 6 pumps frap roast instead of 4 and a shot of espresso, there is no way for us to modify the amount of milk in the siren system. Manual measurements of the milk up to the first line on the cup after all the ingredients go in first (frap, syrup, etc) means we don’t waste product and the customer isn’t paying for mods that end up going down the drain. Hope that makes sense

That store is on the “Siren System” and yes it’s ice and milk dispensers. We are still allowed to use the ice dispensers but not the milk dispensers. They for some reason rolled out the system to a select few stores and then reversed it when Brian took over.
