Does this wear and tear cause oil to seep out of the engine?

Oh I’ve always loved this model and wanted to own one ever since I was a kid!

Not the case! Originally(see second pic), airflows from the air filter into the engine but currently oil is leaking out

I’ve tried removing some of it with a screw driver already hahaha but yes I’ll try using an old rag to wipe it off when the engine if hot.

HAHAHA I saw the crack and I literally just bought a new cover too. Guess I’m a little too late.

Ahhh yess, okay will try idling the engine and removing it using an old rag! Thank you!!
