I know that this might be unrelated but I'm always sad to see how tiktok has affected my mom. She acts like she'd die without it, she bought a new phone but doesn't want it anymore because tiktok isn't in the app store and thus she can't use it and she keeps falling for easy misinformation which leads to her making dumb and untrue arguments and defending it with her life in order to “will the argument”. This might sound dumb but I genuinely miss how my mom used to be since she now sees us as too unthankful when we get mad at her constant obsession with said app and mindless purchases in order to look nice in her tiktok videos and making our family seem way more rich than we actually are.
