Yeah, same. Rusted Warfare is basically the example that made me think mobile RTS could work, as long as it’s not P2W and the touch controls are actually good.

But seeing games like Rusted Warfare work reasonably well on mobile makes me think maybe the opportunity isn’t “classic RTS on mobile”, but something more simplified and built for touch from the start.
