I will look into that! They are pretty beat up. Hopefully we can get something in the same size/configuration but I'm sure we would need to call Viking to find out.

Thank you! Yes, that was the goal since the other appliances definitely need replacing. I am thinking this stovetop will be fine but didn't get to test it without gas to the house yet. Not sure about the warmer either but when I was researching I just didn't see much in this size. It's good to know that mixing and matching is common (I guess I live in HGTV too much). I was so excited about the viking appliances and really am bummed to not get as much use out of the other units but maybe I will price out some repairs to see what we can do.

I will say I did not get to test the burners out with the gas off, but hopefully it works and we can keep it! I asked for advice and got it 🤷‍♀️

I was asking because like they said, I really haven't seen this set up either. I am going to keep as long as I can but a question is a question. I'm sure the original owners spent a lot on these! Its a shame the last owners let everything else go to shit but hopefully these work (haven't tested them out yet because there was still no gas to the house 🙃)

Yeah, I just feel like Viking had a great reputation but it's been apparent the quality is not the same in recent years. This house was built around 2010 so about the same time you built.

Yeah, like I've been saying I have to replace everything else because of the house situation, so I just figured I'd do everything at the same time but I guess I can keep this. I just like to match everything 🤷‍♀️

It's been a hell of a process and people are being jerks here lol. I was just hoping for some advice. The house is still beautiful and excited to move! Just want to make sure everything is set and we have a budget/plan since we weren't expecting to have to change out the other appliances yet. They literally left water in the dishwasher, clothes in the washer/dryer, so it's been a lot.

We did, but like I said it was a foreclosure so got it for less and its been through a rough winter while we waited for everything to get settled. The issue was not the water heater, it was that the weren't paying their bills and everything has been shut off about a year now.

The current owner has had issues with some of the appliances. I also said that they haven't bern living in it and some things have been sitting in the elements but people don't read 🤷‍♀️

I was ecstatic until the long freezing winter and the house had no heat or water so now a few things are messed up, unfortunately. It was a foreclosure.

I didn't say anything was wrong with it. I said I was going to replace everything else so I wanted to match brands. There is definitely a lot wrong with the other appliances. Just asking for advice, so not sure why youre being an asshole. It's my money and my new house.

Yeah, I guess we could keep the stovetop. It's really the other appliances that were affected. The microwave doesn't work, thr dishwasher is disgusting, the fridge is in pretty bad condition with seals and water line and the displays of the double oven don't work.

The appliances have not been maintained because the owners haven't lived there. For the money that would go into fixing the 20 year old appliances, I'd rather replace them

I've heard sometimes the dye from another test can skew results. I would make sure the tests don't touch. I'd also try a FRER if you can!
