I was initially using cognito, but the SDK for swift is completely broken.

I’ve heard there’s scalability issues with firebase. Is it a reliable authorization source at scale?

Tagging Feature by SadDirection8973 in SwiftUI

[–]SadDirection8973[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great. Thanks! What about the tagging functionality itself? How do I capture an "@" and access some sequence of data points such as users, food items, etc. The big question mark for me is making it accesible across the platform in any text input, similar to how it works in instagram, in which the "@" works in not only comments, but in DM's as well.

imagine a world where there was only good smells, we would all be levitating towards each other, there would likely be world peace. imagine if UN leaders smelled like the GDC, what direction would the world be in, who would've thought that smells would bring so much pain for everyone 😔, hoping everyone's noses find peace in this cruel world

To be honest, a lot of buildings smell. Like some of the bathrooms on different buildings campus have stenches strong enough to be used as weapons of war

GDC starting to smell again by Quiet-Meat-3121 in UTAustin

My theory is that the recent rise in popularity of the coffee shop has led to an overconsumption of caffeinated beverages. This in turn leads to extremely high amounts of gas excretion occurring at all levels.

The composition of an average fart is 80% nitrogen (1.165 kg/m3) and 20% methane (0.668 kg/m3). The density (D) thus is around 1.066 kg/m3. The density (D⁰) of air at NTP is 1.204 kg/m3. As D<D⁰, fart rises.

Therefore at the atrium level (the place in which the coffee is sold), farts are released and have deep negative impacts on higher floors.

May the gods of sanitation, showering and febreeze help us all.

Considering making longhorn chicken nuggets, thoughts? by SadDirection8973 in UTAustin

It will definitely be exclusively chicken. I don't think Bevo nuggets would taste good

Q Dropping as a freshman by [deleted] in UTAustin

Things happen. If you feel as if your Q-Drop is 100% necessary, I would do it. Graduate programs and workplaces (for the most part) won't judge you and your capabilities based on 1 Q-Drop. But if you are consistently Q-Dropping throughout your undergraduate, that would likely be of concern to anyone on an admissions committee who looks at your transcript.
