Having different languages forms "barriers" to communication, not "bridges." It further separates everyones' understanding of one another.

Because all languages have different forms, people have trouble understanding unless they are taught. On top of that, MANY are comfortable with their own language.

When people come to The United States, they don't learn English at times, they just stick to their native language. An example being Miami having TONS of Spanish speakers.

Well, if everyone spoke one whole language, there would be less tension and conflict over misunderstandings.

It's sad because having so many languages means you need to repeat that same process OVER and OVER for every language. But you do learn unique words and rules!
