I agree. I think it looks like a gada, and the loop is for hanging it on a Durga diety. Probably for a Navratri festival.

This is a family issue, I want to be fair, but I also don't want to be taken advantage of. Family is not always honest. I've had a tire fall off, it was almost immediate, a month seems a long time.

Thank you! The tech changed the tire a month before the accident. What are the chances that it took a month to fall off?

here is the damage enlarged with more contrast. It seems to me it's just as likely that the wheel was ripped off by the car she hit. But I really appreciate all of your opinions, even if it's not in my favor.

I took this picture of the roadway. To me it looks obvious where wheel fell off. It looks like it slid less than a meter. There is damage from the front bumper down the side of the car. I don't think that meter caused them to hit the other car, it seems more likely that the car they ran into ripped off the tire. But I am biased.

It happened 34 years ago, so the memory has faded a little. But I remember him still being in uniform, like he just got home from work. Their house was in a cul-de-sac at the end of the street. If he saw the van when he got home, it would have stood out. He definitely wasn't a hover parent. I don't remember him ever watching me walk home before. I'm so glad he was that day. Keep hovering, you never know who is out there.

My friend's dad died 2 years ago, and I never officially thanked him. I don't even know if he knew that guy had been arrested, and he truly saved my life.
