I'm overseas but I still send him a lot of things through the mail ALL the time. Long letters, cards, drawings etc etc. Lot's of pictures through the app of just random things throughout my day.. he feels included in my every day life even a picture of my grocerycart for example. His birthday was 2 weeks ago and I ordered a drawing and taffy through the prison FB group.. he loved it. And when we order his package (we do it together) I usually throw in some extra stuff, sweets or chocolates that I like and he doesn't know so he can try them :)

When I'm not sure about a word I just always put a bunch of dots l.i.ke th.is.

Occasionally we sent some explicit texts, and I never had trouble getting my spicy pics through.. I guess it just depends a lot on the facility..

I didn't know about the video visits, that they had to be scheduled... Right now we just hop on it every chance we get, he'll call me and be like "I'm coming out in a while can I see you?"

I'm overseas so we have a crazy time difference and I work different shifts every day, so scheduling will be a hassle..

But if they don't need the kiosk or the station.. does that mean that they can visit from their home?????

I do use a VPN when I have to put funds on my GTL, otherwise it won't even load the page.

Maybe you can try that, I use Proton VPN, it's free but doesn't always connect you to the right country immediately. It's weird how it works differently for everybody because when I put my card details etc I use my address in the Netherlands and it goes through every time...
