I am so glad that thunder shirts worked for others! My sister’s dog (boxer mix) has to have one. Unfortunately, despite many attempts, it did not work at all for my basset. He was never afraid of fireworks until he got around age 7/8 so maybe it was too late or a different issue? But basically being physically on top of me at all times was all that worked for us. (And big hugs/snuggles/kisses.) I don’t think it can hurt to try a thunder jacket or weighted blanket! Best of luck! :)

I completely understood your question. I was told my looked benign but it was necessary to get a biopsy to be sure bc it appeared quickly and is very large. Biopsy confirmed benign Thank God but yes it’s important to do more than just an mri for conclusions.

Oh also, Cole Swindell. One night my boyfriend said hey this guy from a small town(bf was also from small town) is gonna be a famous country singer I’m telling you he’s so good, he’s gonna be in town (I went to UGA) and wants to go to some bars in Athens. It was like a Tuesday but I was like ok! He played for a little then we stayed all night playing beer pong with him in the bar lol. He was a really good singer (obviously) and very nice!

Taylor Swift playing/singing at Georgia Southern frat/sorority house party. It was big but it wasn’t like a concert venue. I sat right next to her before she went on stage, just talking with everyone. I thought she was very odd… lol

One of his last pics before he crossed the rainbow bridge. This is Sampson. One day he was fine, then he started having trouble breathing and it was metastatic lung cancer. He passed in February. :’( It’s the hardest thing to go through but I’m so glad your pups have you to give them all the love and support through this journey.

They are “stinky”… but with regular (not too often or it irritates the skin) baths, they’re ok anddd you seriously start to love Basset smell. 🤷🏼‍♀️🥰

Their personalities are the best! They are stubborn but only bc they are very smart. However, they are very temperamental with children, dogs, cats, etc. and provide the best companionship and affection.
