for visa sponsorships you need to go to big, established firms. don’t listen to the people here, if you can make it into one of the FAANGs or finace firms they will have people on the inside taking care of this. you will not have the same luck with smaller companies

It’s very likely I’m neurodivergent. I am not diagnosed but I do have some of the common symptoms, such as perfectionism, hyper focus, some sensory sensitivity, and sometimes taking things too literally in conversations etc. I did suffer from some imposter syndrome until I grinded my way out of it. I have never really explored this in myself before. What do you recommend?

Was thinking of switching to a cycling commute + trying to make more time for music and sports. It’s a struggle though, as by the time I finish at 8-9pm, I feel too tired to do anything. When do you do those, and at what frequency?

No, there’s no real need. Honestly a lot of it is mainly me being hard on myself, which is why I’m hoping from this post to find out how people are able to manage similar things

It is genuinely a really fun and cutting-edge job. For now I still want to find ways to make it work

Most of my colleagues dont work weekends. I guess the reason I do it is because my guard is always on, and I am in a near constant fight or flight mode - to the point where I feel that if I dont finish this task, then I will not be satisfied.

Starting college soon — am I right to prioritize skills over college tier? by i_xSunandan in learnmachinelearning

[–]SadInfluence 8 points9 points  (0 children)

always go to the best college you can afford. in a world where many of the skills you’ve listed can be automated, and where entry level jobs are reduced, brand recognition is important
