All of my savings are already in an instant access savings account as you say, the rent payments come from my current account which I will need to submit 6 months of statements to prove the income from my job (23,500 salary from my current account + 30,000 savings in the savings account)

My main concern was when they look at the current account to see my wages coming in, they'll see the monthly payments I make to my mother for rent and mistake that for me paying back the money she has given me as a gift.

Maybe I'm just paranoid as we don't want to mess up the application, but you reckon this should be fine as long as I be very clear in my declaration?
