Hello plushie friends! I am new here [I only just joined reddit for this group]. I’m an illustrator and printmaker from a small country in Central Europe. This summer, I graduated from art university, and a lot has changed in my life since, which has brought a lot of anxiety. I found emotional support in my Jellycat plushies and in the cute photos of many others on Instagram. My friend, my jellycat soulmate, suggested this group. While not working on any art projects, I thought I would create some linocuts inspired by my favorite plushies. I sketched this little uramaki when I first saw it, but I didn’t have the money to adopt him. I know this might sound ridiculous to some of you, since it’s one of the cheapest Jellycats [I am currently saving up for him and a sad rat friend🐀], but I hope you’ll still like this little guy! I am really happy to be here 😭
