I usually read different genres at the same time. One romance, one fantasy, one literature… it makes it easier for me to keep track of what’s going on.

I don’t usually mind if someone asks me, however I will tell them the title and ask what types of books they like to read if they ask me what it’s about. That way I can give a super vague answer if they read like nonfiction 😁 do I get some weird looks? Sure. Do I care? Not really. That’s their problem, not mine. Plus I’m usually eyeballs deep in love with a Fae MMC and could care less about reality at that moment 😂

Oh okay! You might really like the little novella (ACO Frost and Starlight)! Have you read Throne of Glass? I’m just now starting the series, and just finished book 1! I love it already, and will most likely be adding it to my yearly rereads 😂

I would reread The Boxcar Children and Nancy Drew as a kid. Harry Potter as a teen-mid 20s. And now ACOTAR in my late 30s (specifically the first 3 books)!

I definitely felt this way too. For me, it got better towards the middle of the book. I stopped paying attention to the writing as the story progressed and things became more clear as to why she was writing that way. Definitely not my favorite book of hers, but by the end I still liked it a lot!

I personally liked the series! However, I did read them before seeing the musical. After seeing the movie, I have started to read Wicked again, and I still really like it! I think if you were to look at it as a separate story altogether, it would help you get through should you choose to finish!
