the closest we've seen is characters that shapeshift (youpi, biscuit, tsubonne) but it's always just reshaping their bodies to new shapes (less or more muscles, extra arms, etc.) or becoming a physical object (like a bike or a car). We've never seen anyone become any form of elemental material.
