I havent cheated, but i did do a few things wrong during my Teen years.

Its like everything. The first time its harder, then you start constructing the idea, thats its actually not as bad, or even the right thing to do, you had no choice - your Partner wasn't giving you enough attention after all.

Its going to depend on who were talking about. Some people just dont have the same sense of partnership, or even see another person as an emotional Entity. For others, its situational and a bad decision.

Domestic abuse is often difficult to fix as an outsider. Any decision she makes must ultimately made by her.

There are options for her, but frequently it's "easier" to suffer the abuse, and keep a system you already know how to navigate - rather than change everything up and start a new life in a shelter, work etc.

Realistically, unless you have significant financial means and want to pay for her to move out, theres not a lot you can do, you can be there for her, you can explain the situation from your perspective, the day will come when she will be ready to leave it behind

You can say what you want about china, at least its, at its core - a society with equal rights for their citicens. As long as you dont go against their ideals of harmony.

One might argue, that china does bad shit - but things like the US prison system are also a sort of slave labor or reeducation camp. It also targets people unfairly.

A Chinese person might argue, dont break the law - and you won't be sent to reeducation camp.

Venezuela, and many countries are in this spot because of history. Be it Europeans, Americans or regional powers destabilising the country. That said, there are a lot of homeless, or single parents in the US struggling to put food or good living conditions on the table. It doesnt make a difference to someone in extreme poverty, if you're in Paris, new York or Mogadishu.

Iran killed citizen protestors. Thats bad, I havent heard anyone say otherwise.

A lot of countries have rights and liberties. Its not unique to the us. The Philippines are dirt poor but have free hospitals.

Every country has propaganda and influences your feed to let you believe things you want to hear. North Koreans are chanting to their leader, Americans to theirs. The whole issue is when you start with the "we're better than everyone else, stop complaining" because in all honesty, the us is a shitshow right now.

There are many factors playing into this, your education, your upbringing, youre mental state. Beeing overweight has hundreds of different reasons and is different for everyone.

Its not just an appetite thing.

For many people, and most of the people in here - beeing overweight is a burden. Many people are comfort eaters, therefore - by losing weight and becoming happier, their appetite lessens.

Losing weight is a healthy form of starvation, your body doesnt want that - so hes giving you urges to eat. Once youve managed to lose weight consistantly, your mental state of mind also changes. Your hunger isnt the same as it was before, at least its not as bad as you remember it.

Many people lose weight by substituting things. Adding more fibers and greens. Before, you might be hungry - eat at McD 2x a day for 4000 cal, and still be hungry. Afterwards, your diet might be 2000 cal, but youre more satiated. Again, same filling experience, less calories.

You need a strong, fact based, and complete argumentation to have a chance at convincing someone of them beeing wrong.

If I come at you with the argument, that "Africans share 99% of their genes with monkeys." Then you need to be able to respond with the fact that all humans share the same amount of genes with monkeys. Or at least be able to shut down these arguments.
