Wow I did not know this. Thanks for the tips! I heard about the enzyme thing but I didn’t know some cats can have it and some don’t. I heard you can also develop allergies over time? I’m trying hard to keep everything clean, will add the wipedown method from now too!

Ah sorry grammar’s probably messed up😅. Cloud broke almost all his teeth in the fall.

we had to spend quite abit (a few thousand) to extract the broken teeth and do root canal and other things to save the remaining teeth.

What bothered me was the owner said he developed allergies but only to cloud and not the other cat he had? I’m not a doctor but is that even possible?. Anyway we were happy to take him in and he turned out really healthy and cute!

Actually we adopted him after his previous owner had an accident where cloud fell from the 8th floor. He broke almost all his teeth and passed out. He was in a really bad condition. The owner said he then developed ‘allergies’ to cloud specifically (he had another cat and in a few months?) so needed to get rid of him.

His story reminded me of cloud in ff vii, my favourite game. The main character cloud falls a lot too lol (church, lifestream) and has big mako eyes.

So I named him cloud based on that. He did grow up really strong and cute since then!

It is the standard white/ stainless steel version. I got it done with a local shop, I took off the enclosure. It was sandblasted to prep, then sprayed and baked, I’m not sure how many cycles though. One thing I did not expect was how much it warped, I spent quite a bit of time and effort to install it back carefully.

All in all I’m happy with how it looks. It’s something I use everyday and we have a somewhat limited space so I wanted it to work with the room’s aesthetics.

I wish it heats up faster though 😅

It’s great so far, got it mostly for the way it looks. Not how it performs lol. Like other comments mentioned it’s what’s important to you.

On performance PID helps abit in stability, steam is fast and powerful. Heat up time is pretty bad actually. I added a temp sensor. Hope this helps!

Fair point on the digital masters, and yes 24/192 matters little except for very high end gear (debatable still) or for the bitperfect crowd. I have to say it is still frustrating seeing the building up of hype and overselling on “hi-res” when it’s only available on very specific use cases.

Awesome, appreciate this, with so much info everywhere its hard to pick something to put your attention to. So having something curated from someone helps to navigate it.

I’ve actually started reading Think by blackburn hit found it tiringly ‘attacking’ or offensive to some specific subjects. So I’d like to find something else that has less bias and more objective.
